April 2007: Bishop Grandin Greenway Inc wins Mayor’s Environmental Award!
The volunteers of Bishop Grandin Greenway have been selected as this year’s winner of The Mayor’s Volunteer Service Award for Environment by Volunteer Manitoba.  For the past 7 years, the volunteers of Bishop Grandin Greenway Inc. have been transforming the barren scar of land along Bishop Grandin Blvd. between the Seine and Red Rivers into a network of accessible nature areas and public pathways linking and supporting both human and wildlife communities.
